First Division side Gzira United secured the services of Andorran international midfielder Sergio Moreno Marin.

Sergi Moreno started his career with FC Andorra but then played in Spain for UE Lleida, Getafe B, UD Ibiza-Eivissa, CF Gimnástico Alcázar, Bakú Hellín Deportivo, U.S.D. Forte dei Marmi in Italy and KF Vllaznia Shkodër in Albania before returning to Spain to play for Hellín and UD Almansa.

Gzira, who have appointed Michael Woods as their new coach confirmed Moises Avila Perez and Anthony Ewurum as foreigners. They signed a number of players from Sliema Wanderers on loan, namely Dejan Vukovic, Dale Micallef, Gabriel Aquilina, Ryan Dalli and Josef Mifsud.
