After releasing goalkeeper Sean Mintoff, Floriana acted swiftly signing Italian goalkeeper Valerio Senatore.

Senatore was on the books of a number of clubs including Genoa, Cavese, Scafatese, Crotone, Vibonese and Campobasso but it was only with Fondi Calcio that he managed to play on a regular basis last season in the Italian Serie D.

The Greens also signed Brazilian central defender Douglas Felipe Moreira Cobo.

Douglas Cobo started his career in his native Brazil but spent the last six years playing in Thailand.
