In view of these two qualifiers, Malta will host English side Goldaming Town on Friday 5th September at the Centenary Stadium. The team then travels to Velje, Denmark where Malta takes on Denmark at the Jokri Park on Saturday 13 in the first of two World Cup qualifiers in five days’ time. On Wednesday 17, Malta hosts group winners Switzerland at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

Brincat could not select his best formation as a number of players will be forming part of the Women’s Under-19 national team which will be taking part in the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship mini-tournament between the 13th and 18th September.
