San Gwann defeated hosts Sirens in the final match of the Maurice Debono Tournament but Sirens still managed to win the tournament on goal-difference as the three teams – the other being Kirkop United – ended their commitments on three points each.
At the end of the match, Sirens FC President Dr Robert Piscopo LLD presented the cup to Sirens captain Kristian Galea.
