Women's national team loses 0-5 to Switzerland

Group winners Switzerland scored four in the second half to beat Malta 5-0 in a match from Group 3 of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying round at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.

Ana Maria Crnogorčević put Switzerland ahead on the 10th minute. Seven minutes in the second half, Vanessa Bürki doubled the score and Lara Dickenmann scored the third goal on 68 minutes. Ana Maria Crnogorčević increased the lead with another two goals in the final six minutes – the fifth being a penalty three minutes from time.
