Attard claimed their first three points in the BOV Third Division as they defeated St. Venera Lightnings 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday in the replay of the game originally scheduled for September 28 but which was abandoned nine minutes from time due to poor floodlight conditions. Ironically, when the game was abandoned, Attard were also leading 2-1.

Robert Perkins put Attard ahead on the 5th minute and Matthew Borg doubled the score six minutes later. Jonathan Micallef pulled one back for St. Venera seven minutes from the end of the first half.

Santa Lucia lead the way with 8 points, followed by Mgarr, Qrendi and Marsaxlokk on 7, Marsaskala 6, Kirkop, Mtarfa and Luqa 5, Kalkara 4, Attard 3, Mdina and Ta’ Xbiex 2 and Sta. Venera 1.
