Floriana striker Amadou Samb was handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after collecting a fourth yellow card during their last game against Balzan last Friday.

Samb is therefore ruled out of the clash with Qormi on October 18.

Meanwhile in Division 1, Julian Briffa (Birzebbuga), Cleaven Frendo (Lija) and Isaac Chircop (Msida) were banned for one match while Birzebbuga St. Peter’s physio Victor Battistino was suspended for two matches.

Matthew Borg (Zejtun) was handed a one-match ban in Division 2 while Alexander Cauchi (Marsaskala), Joseph John Cutajar (Qrendi) and Yan Grech (Mdina) were banned for one match in Division 3. Clayton Caruana was suspended for two matches. Luqa coach Nikolai Slavtchev was suspended for two matches and Santa Lucia official Colin Pavia was banned for one game.
