Ghedin names squad for EURO qualifier in Sofia

National coach Pietro Ghedin named the final squad ahead of the EURO 2016 qualifier against Bulgaria at the Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia on Sunday.

Floriana midfielder Clyde Borg is the latest addition of the squad as Ryan Scicluna had to withdraw from the squad due to an injury. Balzan goalkeeper Steve Sultana and Sliema Wanderers Clifford Gatt Baldacchino who were part of the provisional squad were dropped.

Valletta defender Steve Borg and captain Michael Mifsud of Sliema Wanderers are unable to make the trip to Bulgaria after being sent off in the games against Croatia and Italy respectively. Gareth Sciberras, on the other hand, is still recovering from an injury.
