BOV Second Division leaders San Gwann dropped another two precious points as they were held in a second consecutive 1-1 draw, this time by bottom-placed Xghajra Tornados. San Gwann regain sole leadership but second-placed Hamrun have a game in hand.

Royter Degiorgio put Xghajra ahead on 28 minutes but Nezar Abouhaisa equalised six minutes from time.

San Gwann lead the way with 26 points, followed by Hamrun on 25, Zabbar on 21, Senglea 19, Gharghur 17, Zejtun 16, Swieqi and Sirens 15, Mellieha 12, Siggiewi 11, Marsa 8, Dingli 7, Ghaxaq and Xghajra 4.
