FIFA Referees paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Republic Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca. MFA General Secretary Bjorn Vassallo and Director of Refereeing Adrian Casha accompanied the referees.

Coleiro Preca congratulated the referees and reiterated the importance of professional ethics for international referees.

MFA General Secretary Bjorn Vassallo said the Refereeing Department was one of the pillars on which the association bases its work.

Director of Refereeing Adrian Casha praised the commitment and dedication of international officials who managed to reach the highlight of their career and stated that they are suitable models for young referees still in the first steps of their career.

At the end of the meeting, Adrian Casha, presented on behalf of those present, a donation to Her Excellency Marie-Louise Colerio Preca for the Malta Community Chest Fund, which in turn thanked to the referees for this nice gesture and wished them more success and satisfaction in sport.
