Franco Cachia has been appointed as one of the referees for the UEFA Futsal EURO preliminary round mini-tournament in Moldova.

Albania, Franza, San Marino and hosts Moldova took part in the tournament which was played at the FMF Arena in Ciorescu between the 14th and 17th January.

Franco Cachia was appointed as first referee in the clashes between France and San Marino, Albania and France. He was then appointed as second referee in the decisive clash France vs Moldova.

Meanwhile during the mini-tournament which was held in Malta, Robert Darmanin and Jonathan Mallia were appointed as timekeepers.
