Mark Miller signs short-term deal with Qormi

Mark Miller joined Qormi FC as coach until the end of the season. He replaces Josef Mansueto who quit the job during the weekend after a 0-1 defeat to Zebbug Rangers in the derby.

Miller started his coaching career as player-coach with Sliema Wanderers and then Floriana before being appointed coach of Hibernians in 1996 where he served until 1999. He joined the MFA technical sector in 2000 where he coached the Under-17 and Under-19 sides before being appointed Malta Under-21 coach.

In summer 2008, Miller returned with Hibernians but left the club in summer 2012 to join Valletta where he spent two years although as from January 2014, he was no longer the head coach due to the appointment of Andre Paus.

Qormi are currently bottom of the BOV Premier League table with seventeen points from twenty-one matches. They suffered seven consecutive defeats and have gone twelve matches without a win. They will be facing Floriana this weekend.
