Hibernians defeated Mgarr United 3-1 to stay three points clear of Birkirkara who notched a late winner against Kirkop United in the BOV Women’s League on Tuesday.

In another match, Raiders (Luxol) defeated Pembroke Athleta 5-1.

Hibs lead the way with 43 points, followed by Birkirkara on 40, Raiders (Luxol) 34, Mgarr 31, Pembroke 21 and Kirkop 18.

In Section B, Swieqi United extended their positive run with a 5-0 win over Lija / Iklin. Tarxien Rainbows, on the other hand, move third thanks to a 2-0 win over Sliema Wanderers.
