Pietà are currently joint-second from bottom. They lost three out of the last four matches and against Balzan, they target a positive result after a 1-1 draw in the first round and a 2-1 win in the second.

Elkin Serrano and Lydon Micallef return for Balzan after serving a one-match ban.

Meanwhile in the second match, Valletta hope to keep the pace with Birkirkara as they face Naxxar Lions.

The Citizens lie four points behind the Stripes and are coming from four consecutive wins, the last being a 3-1 win over Mosta. Naxxar, on the other hand, moved to a rather comfortable position after beating Zebbug and Qormi with identical 2-1 wins and holding Hibernians in a 2-2 draw.

Gilmar da Silva Ribeiro will be back for Naxxar after serving a one-match ban.

Valletta defeated Naxxar 2-0 and 3-0 in the first phase.
