Jackson Lima, Jorginho Silva sign new Hibernians deals

Brazilians Jackson di Lima Siqueira and Jorge Pereira da Silva will be staying with Hibernians after agreeing new deals with the club.

Jackson Lima signed a two-year deal while Jorginho Silva signed a three-year contract with the Paolites.

Thirty-two year old Jackson Lima moved to Malta in summer 2010 to join Sliema Wanderera and after spending eigtheen months with the club, left to join Hibernains mid-way through season 2011/12.

Jorge Pereira da Silva moved to Malta in summer 2011 and after a successful season with the club as he scored eighteen goals in 29 matches, he moved to Hungary to join Kecskemeti.

In summer 2013, he moved back to Malta to join Qormi but made just thirteen appearances due to a long-term injury. Last summer, he signed for Hibernians and crowned a successful season with three goals in the final league match against Valletta to join Edison Luis dos Santos on top the list of scorers in the BOV Premier League.
