Birkirkara FC part ways with coach Paul Zammit

Birkirkara FC announced that they had reached an agreement with coach Paul Zammit to part ways.

Zammit had joined Birkirkara in summer 2009 on a two-year deal but his contract was not renewed. However a few months later, in October 2011, he was re-appointed as the club’s Head Coach.

During these two spells as Birkirkara coach, he led the club to two BOV Premier League championships, two Super Cups and an FA Trophy.

The club thanked Mr. Zammit for his sterling service towards the club and wished him all the best of luck in his future.

The main candidate to replace Paul Zammit seems to be Italian coach Giovanni Tedesco who led Floriana for the past fourteen months.
