Vito Plut joins Birkirkara

Birkirkara secured the services of Slovenian striker Vito Plut. Plut signs a three-year deal with the club.

After starting his career with NK Kolpa, he played for FC Koper, NK Maribor and ND Gorica in Slovenia, Waasland-Beveren in Belgium and 1. FC Saarbrücken in Germany. Vito Plut moved to Malta last season, joining Floriana.

With Floriana, he scored twelve goals in thirty-two league matches.

This is the club’s first signing since the appointment of Giovanni Tedesco as the new coach and Josef Mansueto as his assistant. However Nikola Vukanac, Ryan Camenzuli, Joseph Zerafa and Paul Fenech have all signed new contracts with the club.
