Birkirkara secured the services of Malta Under-21 international Cain Attard from Pietà Hotspurs. Attard signed a five-year deal with the Stripes.

The twenty-one year old is a product of Pietà and made his Premier League debut with the Hotspurs last season.

The Stripes had earlier signed Fabrizio Miccoli, Vito Plut, Edin Murga, Marcelina Emerson and young goalkeeper Philip Schranz.

Meanwhile after Brazilian striker Liliu announced that he will be moving to another country, Rafael Ledesma is expected to move to Sliema Wanderers. On the other hand, Zach Muscat is currently on trial with Pisa in Italy.
