Terence Vella replaces Dylan Grima in squad for Italy clash

New Qormi striker Terence Vella joined the squad for the trip to Italy as he replaced the injured Dylan Grima. The Balzan captain pulled out of the squad after sustaining a knee injury in training.

National coach Pietro Ghedin had initially dropped Vella from the provisional squad along with Sliema goalkeeper Glenn Zammit, Pembroke defender Alex Cini and Tarxien midfielder Ayrton Azzopardi.

Clifford Gatt Baldacchino of Sliema had earlier replaced Jonathan Caruana who sustained an injury in the clash between Valletta and Sliema.
