Gozitan side Oratory Youths secured a place in the first round of the FA Trophy after beating Marsaskala 5-1 at the Gozo Stadium on Saturday.

Manwel Cordina put the Youths ahead on 23 minutes and Javier Polo Longarela doubled the score on 79 minutes. Melchior Grech pulled one back for Marsaskala but Christian Mercieca made it 3-1 two minutes from time. However it was not over yet as on the 91st minute, Andre Azzopardi scored a fourth goal and Manwel Cordina sealed the issue with a fifth goal a minute later.

In the first round, Oratory Youths will be meeting another Gozitan side – St. Laurence Spurs. First round matches will be played next week.
