Fgura file protest following defeat to Hamrun

Fgura United have filed a protest against the result of the Bov First division match against Hamrun Spartans over the ineligibility of a Hamrun player. Hamrun won Sunday’s clash 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick by Haruna Garba Zambuk with Fgura scoring a consolation goal through Juan Manuel Ruiz Perez.

Fgura argue that Orosco Anonam was ineligible to play for Hamrun after being suspended for one match for picking four yellow cards after the last league game whichever playing for Pietà Hotspurs last season.

The protest is expected to be heard before Fgura’s next league match against St. George’s on Friday.
