Zebbug Rangers maintained their unbeaten run in the BOV First Division as they beat Gudja United 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Following a goalless first half, former Gudja striker Angelo Catania put Zebbug ahead on the 55th and Diego Pereira doubled the score on 76 minutes. Deyan Farrugia pulled one back for Gudja three minutes in added time.

Zebbug lead the way with 7 points, followed by Senglea, Gzira and Rabat on 6, Fgura, Gudja, Pieta, St. George’s, Melita and Hamrun on three, San Gwann 1, Lija, Vittoriosa and Mqabba 0.
