Gzira United kept marching on in the BOV First Division with a fifth win from as many matches as they defeated Zebbug Rangers in one of the two matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium.

Raphael Kooh Sohna put Gzira ahead on the 5th minute and Moises Avila Perez doubled the score on the 91st minute.

Meanwhile Francois Guihard was once again the hero for Melita as they defeated St. George’s 1-0. The French striker scored the all-important goal on 67 minutes.

Gzira lead the way with 15 points, followed by Zebbug on 10, Lija and Melita 9, Senglea, Rabat and Hamrun 7, Fgura, St. George’s, Vittoriosa and Pietà 4, Gudja 3, San Gwann and Mqabba 2.
