Siggiewi joined Marsa on top the BOV Second Division as they defeated Mgarr United 1-0 at the Luxol Stadium on Friday. Siggiewi therefore returned to winning ways following a 1-1 draw with Zurrieq last week.

Kim Buhagiar scored the all-important goal one minute from time.

Marsa and Siggiewi lead the way with 13 points, followed by Sirens on 12, Gharghur 11, Birzebbuga and Zejtun 10, Zabbar 9, Qrendi, Swieqi and Mgarr 7, Kirkop 6, Mellieha 5, Zurrieq 3 and Msida 1.
