Clayton Pisani, Philip Farrugia to control matches in Georgia

The Malta FA Refereeing Department announces that as part of the referee exchange agreement with the Georgian Football Federation, a team of Maltese officials shall be controlling two matches in the top division of professional football in Georgia at the end of this week.

On Saturday, FIFA Referee Clayton Pisani, shall be in charge of fourth-placed Spartaki Tskhinvali and second-placed Sioni Bolnisi at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium while on Sunday, Elite Referee Philip Farrugia shall be in charge of the match between leaders Dinamo Tbilisi and fifth-placed FC Samtredia at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena – the venue for the 2015 UEFA Super Cup Final between Barcelona and Seville.

Clayton Pisani and Philip Farrugia shall alternate their roles as referee / 4th official; while FIFA Assistant Referee Jurgen Spiteri and Elite Assistant Referee Martin Borg will be the other members of the refereeing team.
