Six Premier League players were suspended for one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week matches and are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Elkin Serrano Valero (Balzan), Andrew Scicluna (Naxxar), Noah Olawole Ojuola (Qormi) and Ian Azzopardi (Valletta) were suspended on Wednesday while Edafe Christopher Uzeh (St. Andrews) and Brandon Muscat (Tarxien) were suspended on Friday.

Azzopardi is ruled out of this weekend’s big match between Valletta and Birkirkara, Elkin Serrano and Brandon Muscat will miss the clash between Tarxien and Balzan, Noah Olawole Ojuola is ruled out of Qormi’s game against Floriana, Andrew Scicluna the game with Hibernians and Uzeh the clash with St. Andrews.
