Balzan secured the services of 29-year old Montenegrin goalkeeper Ivan Janjušević.

Janjušević spent most of his career with Sutjeska Nikšić but also had spells with Mogren in Montenegro and Vasas in Hungary.

He won the championship twice while with Mogren and twice while at Sutejska. He also made a substitute appearance for the national team in 2008.

Meanwhile the club released Nigerian striker Godwin Mensha. Mensha, who joined Balzan in summer, has now signed for Mosta.
