Pietà Hotspurs maintained hopes of clinching the promotion play-off spot as they defeated Fgura United 1-0 in a match from the BOV First Division at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Kyle Cesare scored the all-important goal on the 26th minute for Patrick Curmi’s side.

For Fgura, this was the fifth defeat in the last six matches.
