Nine Premier League players suspended

Nine Premier League players are ruled out of the final league matches after being suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Daren Falzon (Naxxar) was banned for two matches while Paul Fenech (Balzan), Frank Temile (Birkirkara), Ryan Grech (Naxxar), Siraj Arab Eddin (Pembroke), Mark Scerri and Stefano Bianciardi (Sliema), Joao Pedro Oliveira Santos and Alex da Paixao Alves (Tarxien) were banned for one match.

Daren Falzon, Ryan Grech, Mark Scerri and Stefano Bianciardi are ruled out of Sliema vs Naxxar, Pedrinho and Lecao will miss Tarxien’s last game against Floriana, Paul Fenech and Frank Temile are ruled out of the game between Balzan and Birkirkara while Siraj Arab skips the game against Mosta.

In Division 1, Kurt Pace (Fgura), Emilio Cornago San Pedro (Melita) and Nikolai Muscat (San Gwann) were banned for one match.

Miguel Grech (Msida) was banned for two matches in Division 2 while Dylan Rapinett (Kirkop), Lazar Doric (Mgarr) and Mauro Brincat (Zejtun) were handed a one-match ban.

Noel Tabone, Bjorn Dalli and Bronwen Bugeja (Ghaxaq), Kurt Farrugia (Mdina), Rudi Carbonaro and Brandon Gafa (Sta. Venera) were all banned for one match in Division 3.
