Citizens prepare to celebrate 23rd title

After the MFA Protests Board turned down the protest filed by Hibernians against the result of last Sunday’s Premier League clash against Birkirkara, Valletta will celebrate the 23th championship in the history of the club as they take on Hibernians in the final BOV Premier League clash at the National Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 16:00.

Valletta and Hibernians met twice with the Paolites winning the first round clash 1-0 while the second round clash ended in a 3-2 win for the Citizens.

Although they have nothing to play for, Hibernians will definitely be all out to spoil Valletta’s party. Before last Sunday’s defeat to Birkirkara, the Paolites were coming from a fine unbeaten run of fifteen matches. Valletta, on the other hand, lost just one of the last twenty-one matches.

Gates at the National Stadium will open at 14:00. West A, West C and Millennium D stands are reserved for Valletta supporters and Millennium F fotr Hibernians supporters.

Valletta supporters should enter Ta’ Qali from Mosta and use the Enclosure parking area and the area in front of the Model Aircraft Association. Hibernians supporters should enter Ta’ Qali from the Rabat side and park in the area of the National Park.
