Sliema Wanderers won the Youth Knock-Out after defeating Birkirkara 4-0 in the final at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday.

The Wanderers, who won promotion to Section A after finishing as runners-up in Section B, scored twice through Michele Sansone with Paolo Dandolo and Justin Vella scoring the other two goals.

On their way to the final, the Wanderers eliminated St. George’s 4-0, Zabbar St. Patrick 4-1, Vittoriosa Stars 2-1 after extra-time and Floriana 1-0. The Stripes, on the other hand, defeated Kirkop United 6-0, Qormi on penalties, Mosta 3-2 and Marsaxlokk 3-1.
