Two wins for Under-19 side in Italy

The Malta Under-19 side led by Wayne Attard registered two wins in two frienldy matches in Veronello, Italy.

On Saturday, Malta defeated the Chievo Verona Primavera side 2-0. Aiden Jake Friggieri put Malta ahead early in the game and Zachary Brincat doubled the score after the break. On the other hand, on Monday, Malta dominated the clash against San Marino although they only registered a narrow 1-0. The Maltese hit the posts three times but late in the game, San Marino could have equalised but goalkeeper Andreas Vella saved a penalty.
