Defender Predrag Jovic and midfielder Srdjan Dimitrov are the first two signings for Birkirkara FC for the coming season.

Twenty-nine year old Jovic has always played in Serbia throughout his career, turning out for Radnički Obrenovac, Banat Zrenjanin, Inđija, Radnički Kragujevac and Kolubara. Dimitrov, on the other hand, twenty-three year old Dimitrov started his career with Inđija but moved to Napredak Kruševac in 2013.

The Stripes, who have confirmed Croat Drazen Besek as their coach, will be in action in less than two weeks in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League – the draws for which will be held on Monday.
