Valletta, St. Andrews, Sliema Wanderers and Pembroke Athleta reached the semi-finals of the Evolution Gaming Summer Cup 2016.

In Section A, on Friday, Valletta registered their second win as they beat Mosta 3-0 thanks to goals by Uchenna Calistus Umeh, Michael Mifsud and Roderick Briffa. The Citizens therefore claimed maximum points with St. Andrews and Mosta collecting one point.

On the other hand, a goal by John Mintoff gave Sliema Wanderers a narrow win over Sirens. Sliema collected six points, followed by Pembroke on three and Sirens zero.
