Six Premier League players suspended

nike-ordem-ta-qaliSix Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Gzira’s Robert Pinho de Souza was banned for two matches while Clyde Borg (Floriana), Joceano da Silva Santos (Gzira), Njongo Lobe Priso Doding (Mosta), Sergio Fernandez Prendes and Rogelio Antonio Van Horn Avila Filho (Tarxien) were suspended for one match.

Robert is ruled out of Gzira’s next two games against Pembroke and Balzan. Joceano will also miss the Pembroke game. Priso will miss the game against Birkirkara, Clyde Borg the clash with Valletta and Sergio Prendes and Rogelio Avila the clash between Tarxien and Hamrun.

Meanwhile in the First Division, Dylan Agius (Fgura), Quincy Bregman (Mqabba) and Alessio Cassar (Qormi) were suspended for one match while in the Second Division, Mattia Mentosa (St. George’s) was suspended for one match, Aaron Hili (St. George’s) for two matches, Siggiewi coach Saviour Debono Grech for one match and Attard kit manager Edward Catania for six matches.

Miguel Agius of Ta’ Xbiex were banned for one match in Division 3.
