Three teams registered their second win in the BOV Third Division as match day 2 was played on Saturday.

Danijel Vasic was the hero for Sta. Venera Lightnings as he notched a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Marsaskala at the Charles Abela Stadium. Vasic gave the Lightnings a two-goal lead thanks to two penalties – one on the half-hour and another six minutes in the second half with the same player scoring a third goal twelve minutes from time.

A goal by Daniel Cluett gave Mdina Knights a narrow win over Dingli Swallows at the Charles Abela Stadium.

Kyle Russell gave Ta’ Xbiex a narrow win over Zurrieq at the Luxol Stadium. Russell scored the all-important goal on the 23rd minute.

Luqa St. Andrew’s and Santa Lucia shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Sirens Stadium, goals by Leeroy Bonnett for Luqa on the 38th and Jean Claude Annati for Santa Lucia on the 94th.

In another match at the Sirens Stadium, Kirkop United registered their first win as they beat Xghajra Tornados 1-0.
