Three Premier League players were banned by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week matches.

Valletta’s Leandro Damian Aguirre was banned for two matches while Antonio Orlando de Queiroz Machedo Neto of Gzira and Adrian Caruana on Mosta were suspended for one match.

Aguirre is ruled out of the next two games against Hibernians and Birkirkara, Tony misses the clash with Balzan and Caruana the game against St. Andrews.
