Kirkop United and Zurrieq registered wins in two matches from the BOV Third Division at the Charles Abela Stadium on Sunday.

A goal by Dylan Rapinett enabled Kirkop to beat Msida St. Joseph 1-0. This was the first defeat for Msida after three wins in the first three matches.

In another match, a goal by Marko Dimitrijevic on the 34th and Nathan Zammit seven minutes from time gave Zurrieq a 2-0 win over Marsaskala.

Msida and Sta. Venera lead the way with 9 points followed by Kalkara, Mdina, Kirkop and Zurrieq on 6, Santa Lucia 5, Luqa and Xghajra 4, Dingli, Ta’ Xbiex and Mtarfa 3, Marsaskala 0.
