Holders Sliema Wanderers were drawn with Mosta in the third round of the FA Trophy. The draws of the the third and fourth rounds were held at the National Stadium on Tuesday.

This will not be the only clash between two Premier League clubs as Birkirkara were drawn with St. Andrews.

Tarxien Rainbows, Balzan, Hibernians, Gzira United and Pembroke Athleta were all paired with clubs from Division 1 as they were drawn with Gharghur, Zebbug Rangers, Senglea Athletic, Vittoriosa Stars and Sirens respectively.

Valletta and Floriana will be facing Second Division sides San Gwann and Birzebbuga St. Peter’s respectively while Hamrun Spartans were paired with Nadur Youngsters.

Two First Division sides Pietà Hotspurs and Lija Athletic were drawn against each other while Swieqi United were paired with Qrendi in a clash between two Second Division sides.

Victoria Hotspurs face Ghajnsielem in the only clash between two Gozitan sides.

In other matches, SK Victoria Wanderers face Mgarr United, Xewkija Tigers take on Marsa and Siggiewi face Mqabba.

Meanwhile from the fourth round draws, last season’s finalists Balzan could face Valletta if they beat Zebbug Rangers and San Gwann respectively in the third round.
