Qrendi keep marching on in the BOV Second Division as they defeated Gudja United 4-0 at the Luxol Stadium on Friday.

An own goal on the 20th minute paved the way for Qrendi who doubled the score just before half-time through Giovanni Galea. Dhonatan Santos da Hora made it 3-0 on the hour and Josuel Spiteri scored the fourth goal two minutes in added time.

Qrendi lead the way with 19 points, followed by Zejtun on 16 points, San Gwann on 15, Siggiewi 11, Zabbar and Birzebbuga 10, Attard, St. George’s, Marsaxlokk and Swieqi 7, Mgarr 5, Gudja 3, Ghaxaq and Mellieha 2.
