Jorge Mesqueu Neto of Hamrun Spartans was handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Jorginho is therefore ruled out of the Spartans’ next game against Hibernians.

In Division 1, Joseph Caruana of Rabat Ajax was banned for five matches while Lydon Vella (Gharghur), Ryan Micallef (Rabat) and Christian Caruana (Sirens) were banned for one match. Rabat Ajax president Amadeo Zammit was banned for three months.

Alan Tabone (Zejtun) was banned for three matches in Division 2 while Lesley Cassar Jackson (Birzebbuga) was suspended for one match.

In Division 3, Mark Anthony Psaila (Luqa), Mario Zammit (Msida), Alexander Cauchi (Sta. Lucia), Joel Winters (Sta. Venera) and Radnor Farrugia (Zurrieq) were banned for one match. Sta. Venera coach Marco Grech and official Rennie Briffa were both banned for one match.
