Eight Premier League players were banned by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend's matches. Floriana striker Mario Fontanella was banned for two matches while Bruno Giglio de Oliveira (Balzan), Chinatu Francis Onwudinjo (Mosta), Paltemio Barbetti and Zoran Levnaic (Pembroke), Dale Camilleri (St. Andrews), Claudio Pani and Federico Falcone (Valletta) were suspended for one match.
