Three Premier League players suspended

Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches from the BOV Premier League.

Gary Muir (Birkirkara), Enzo Ruiz (Floriana) and David Fenech (Mosta) were banned and are therefore unavailable for the games against Hibernians, Gzira and Sliema respectively.

In Division 1, Dylan Aquilina (Fgura), Isaac Chircop (Gharghur), Patrick Borg (Lija) and Brendan Grech (Qormi) were all banned for one match along with Lija Athletic president Paul Fenech.

Jonathan Zahra (Gudja) was banned for three matches in Division 2 while Edward Azzopardi and Kurt Zahra (Attard), Jean Claude Vella (Marsaxlokk), Ryan Marmara (Mgarr), Darrell Grech (Qrendi), Sergio Hili, Stacey Vella and Allan Borg (San Gwann), Nathan Caruana (Siggiewi), Kevin Camilleri (St. George’s), Neil Falzon (Zabbar), Roderick Spiteri and Charlton Gerada (Zejtun) were all suspended for one match.

In Division 3, Kayne Said (Dingli) was handed a two-match ban.
