Pietà Hotspurs returned to winning ways in the BOV First Division as they defeated Marsa 2-0 in a mid-table clash at the Centenary Stadium on Monday.

Gabriel Mensah put the Hotspurs ahead on the 22nd minute and Jurgen Suda doubled the score eight minutes later.

Naxxar and Lija lead the way on 48 points, followed by Senglea on 47, Mqabba 44, Qormi 43, Vittoriosa 36, Pietà 35, Sirens and Melita 31, Zebbug 27, Marsa 25, Rabat 23, Gharghur 17 and Fgura 15.
