Peter Pullicino appointed Birkirkara FC coach

Birkirkara FC have appointed Peter Pullicino as their new coach. Pullicino replaces Croat Nikola Jaros who took over the team mid-way through the season after the club sacked Drazen Besek.

Pullicino, who has just obtained the UEFA Pro Licence, formed part of the Birkirkara FC technical staff as assistant coach between 2011 and 2015, assisting Patrick Curmi first and Paul Zammit later. He was also coach of the Birkirkara youth team who won the Youth League Section A in season 2013/14.

The former Hibernians, Msida St. Joseph, Marsaxlokk and Malta national team midfielder, who was earlier assistant coach at Marsaxlokk, later joined the Malta Football Association technical staff and was appointed as national futsal coach after serving as assistant coach for the Malta Under-19 national team.
