Hosts St. Andrews won the Summer Cup organised at the Luxol Stadium with maximum points from five matches.

After both Lija Athletic and St. Andrews won their first three matches, the direct clash between the two had to determine the winner of the tournament with the Saints emerging as winners with a comfortable 3-0 win on the newly-promoted Premier League side on Tuesday.

On Thursday, St. Andrews defeated Qrendi 1-0 courtesy of a late goal by Kemar Reid while Lija Athletic suffered a second defeat, losing 0-3 to Zejtun Corinthians after Lija had a player sent off. Saturday Nanapere scored twice with Luis de Melo Lima hitting another.

On Tuesday, an early goal by Yessous Camilleri gave the Corinthians a narrow win over Pietà Hotspurs. Therefore Zejtun finished as runners-up.
