Kalkara FC present new signings

Newly-promoted Second Division side Kalkara FC presented their new signings, kits and sponsors during an event at their training grounds.

Newly-appointed president Rodney Degiorgio said that the first objective for the coming season would be that of securing their status as early as possible. He thanked the sponsors, namely MJK Transport Ltd, XPH Malta and Remax Professionals together with other companies and individuals who are supporting the club and in particular, Mohammed Busefi, who has been supporting the club since its foundation thirteen years ago.

Coach Trevor Thomas has been confirmed following a most successful season along with the large majority of the members of the squad which has been strengthened further with the signing of defender Jesmar Briffa formerly of Gharghur, experience goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri and striker Dylan Xuereb from Senglea Athletic while Stefan Camilleri is back with the club after a spell with Gudja United. Nigerjan striker Benjamin Dalatu Ayuba will be joining the club shortly.

The Supporters Fund was successfully launched along with a Membership Card which includes discounts from Tuttosport.

The club thanked Minister Joe Mizzi thanked to whom the long-awaited club-house is being built and Mayor Speranza Chircop.
