Mellieha came from behind to beat Ghaxaq 3-1 in one of two matches from the BOV Third Division at the Charles Abela Stadium.

Florin Anton converted a penalty on the 7th minute but eleven minutes in the second half, Jack Vella levelled matters. James Borg made it 2-1 for Mellieha on the 66th and three minutes later, Kyle Simiana sealed the issue with a third goal.

Meanwhile a brace by Daniel Zammit on the 5th and 64th enabled Zurrieq to defeat Marsaskala 2-0.

Mellieha lead the way with 6 points, followed by Zurrieq on 4, Sta. Venera, Msida and Mtarfa 3, Xghajra, Kirkop and Ghaxaq 1, Mdina, Ta’ Xbiex, Dingli and Marsaskala 0.
