Under-21 side beaten 3-0 in Sweden

The Malta Under-21 side suffered a fourth defeat in Group 6 of the UEFA Under-21 Championship after losing 0-3 to Sweden at the Olympia Stadium in Helsingborg.

Isak Ssewankambo put Sweden ahead on the 31st minute and Carlos Strandberg scored twice on the 50th and 70th to seal the issue.

In the previous matches, Malta suffered three identical 2-1 defeats to Belgium, Cyprus and Hungary away from home. Malta takes on Turkey in the next match on November 10.
