Six Premier League players suspended

Six Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Ivan Edgardo Paz of Senglea was banned for three matches while Arthur Henrique Ricciardi Oyama (Floriana), Souleymane Diamoutene (Gzira), Luke Bonnici and Daniel Scerri (Lija) and Ivan Maric (Mosta) were all banned for one match.

Paz is ruled out of the next three matches against Gzira, Floriana and Mosta. Also ruled out of Senglea vs Gzira is Souleymane Diamoutene. Arthur Henrique skips the game against Naxxar, Lija could not count on Bonnici and Scerri for the game against Hibernians while Maric misses the game against Balzan.

Mosta kit-manager Dennis Galea and St. Andrews team manager Alex Busuttil were also suspended for one match.

Meanwhile in the FA Trophy, Luca Martinelli (Attard), Kyle Spiteri (Qormi), Emre Yener and Deemer Cutajar (Xghajra) were suspended for one match.
